ROLE: PRODUCT ENGINEER

TERM: 3.5 MONTHS

RATE: HOURLY & NEGOTIABLE

LOCATION: ON-SITE IN GRAND RAPIDS, MI

Works cross-functionally with engineers, mechanical designers, manufacturing, suppliers, industrial design, and marketing by performing large, complex engineering assignments related to the creation, development, and-or improvement of product designs.

Skills And Abilities

• ò Technology-Engineering Analysis & Methodology: Ability to apply mechanical engineering principles, material science, manufacturing processes and tooling as they relate to the engineering of a product.
• ò Experience in the engineering approval of parts for production (ISIR-PPAPs)
• ò Experience performing and understanding DFMEA-PFMEAs.
• ò A proven history of successful product launches into production.
• ò Computer Skills: Creo experience is required, Windchill experience is nice to have.

Education

• ò A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.
