Job description

About Nowadays

We're building the future of in-person connection, from intimate exec offsites to a conference-level company offsite.

Nowadays is the first AI-powered platform for planning corporate events. Our software handles everything from venue sourcing to vendor negotiations, making it easier and faster for teams to meet up in real life.

We've planned events across the globe for companies like Google, Airbnb, and Quantstamp, and we're just getting started.

Our mission is simple: make it easier for teams to create meaningful moments together.

Who we are

We're a sister-founded team based in San Francisco. We move fast, care deeply, and love bringing people together (whether it's a strategic offsite or a Friendsgiving in our Nowadays home).

We believe the best teams:

  • Take ownership

  • Keep things scrappy

  • Celebrate wins (big and small)

  • Genuinely enjoy working (+ hanging out) together

Some of our favorite team excursions so far:

  • Flying trapeze

  • Steak-offs at home

  • Hauling a Christmas tree up to the office

  • Hitting the spa after a big launch

  • Racing an Ironman Relay

What you'll do
  • Build full-stack features (React/TypeScript, Next.js, Node/Python) with exceptional design and user experience

  • Work directly with large enterprise customers to understand their needs and build custom features

  • Own the end-to-end product development cycle from customer conversations to production

  • Partner closely with sales and ops teams to prioritize high-impact customer requests

  • Make key product and technical decisions that shape our platform for enterprise use cases

  • Ship features quickly and iterate based on real customer feedback

  • Help define our product culture and processes from day one

What we're looking for
  • You've built and shipped full-stack products with excellent design and UX

  • You have strong product intuition and can translate customer needs into elegant solutions

  • You're comfortable working directly with customers and gathering requirements

  • You have a strong eye for design and can build beautiful, polished interfaces

  • You're confident in modern web frameworks and SQL

  • You like moving fast, taking ownership, and shipping features that customers love

  • You want to shape the product and work closely with enterprise customers

Bonus points
  • Experience building custom features for enterprise customers

  • Strong design skills or experience working closely with designers

  • Background in product management or customer-facing engineering roles

  • Startup zero-to-one experience

  • Experience with B2B SaaS platforms
