Job summary

Addison Group partners with a growing industrial manufacturing client in Oklahoma City to add Product Engineers who will support design, application and manufacturing of flow-control products used in oil & gas, refinery and industrial processing environments. This is a direct-hire role with on-site work 5 days a week and compensation of $90,000–$100,000 plus full benefits.

Qualifications

  • BSME degree required.
  • Experience with sizing flows API 520 or ANSI/ISA S75.01 is required.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks; AutoCAD experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ASME Sec XIII and API 6A is important.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support design, application, and manufacturing of industrial valve and flow-control products.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service to provide technical recommendations.
  • Size valves and perform flow calculations per API 520 or ANSI/ISA S75.01.
  • Prepare technical data sheets, drawings, BOMs, and customer docs.
  • Create and manage ECRs/ECNs; support manufacturing and quality teams.

Job description

Location: Oklahoma City, OK - On-site, 5 days per week
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 plus 100% paid benefits for employee, PTO, 401K match
Position Type: Direct Hire - Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship assistance.

We are partnering with a growing industrial manufacturing client in Oklahoma City that is looking to add a few Product Engineers to their engineering team. These positions will support the design, application, and manufacturing of industrial flow-control products used in oil & gas, refinery, and industrial processing environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy a combination of technical engineering, product application support, and hands-on collaboration with manufacturing and sales teams. The engineers will join a close-knit team environment and work directly with production, quality, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to support highly engineered industrial products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, application, and manufacturing of industrial valve and flow-control products
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to provide technical recommendations and product selection support
  • Size valves and develop flow calculations using API 520 or ANSI/ISA S75.01 standards
  • Prepare technical data sheets, product drawings, bills of materials, and customer-facing engineering documentation
  • Create and manage engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change notices (ECNs)
  • Support manufacturing, quality, assembly, and supply chain teams with troubleshooting and technical guidance
  • Develop and maintain build/test procedures and engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on product improvements, problem solving, and sustaining engineering initiativesJa
  • Utilize SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ERP/MRP systems to support product development and manufacturing activities
Required Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME)
  • Application/Design aptitude of Safety Relief Vales and/or Chokes
  • Experience with Sizing (flows) API 520 or ANSI/ISA S75.01
  • Strong knowledge/familiarity in ASME Sec XIII and API 6A
  • Primary drafting experience using SolidWorks (AutoCAD application also preferred)
