Job summary

Kelly seeks a Product Engineer in Fuquay-Varina, NC to design and improve products, manage multiple projects, and drive cost, quality, and performance improvements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and powertrain aspects, and apply GD&T and engineering calculations to production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Strong CAD experience and ability to take designs to production.
• Proficiency with GD&T and engineering analysis methods.
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and powertrain concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of existing products.
• Manage multiple moderate scope projects on a common timeline with a fixed implementation date.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide engineering support.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $42/hour

Shift: 1st shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (OT hours will be required if requested by Deere)

Responsibilities

As a Product Engineer located in Fuquay-Varina, NC, you will:

• Develop and implement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of existing products
• Manage the implementation of multiple moderate scope projects on a common timeline tied to a pre-determined implementation date
• Identify the root cause of identified issues and develop corrective actions to resolve them
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to provide engineering support

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)

• Proficient in 3D CAD, other engineering tools & systems (Creo, Windchill, SAP, ANSYS, etc.)
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, structural, and powertrain systems and the ability to troubleshoot them
• Working knowledge of technical drawings and GD&T
• Experience taking designs from ideas to fully implemented into production
• Experience performing engineering calculations and data analysis
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering
