Job summary

John Deere in Grovetown, GA is hiring a Senior Product Engineer to lead B2C VI projects within Augusta Commercial Products. This onsite role requires strong engineering leadership and collaboration with multiple internal teams to translate customer needs into rigorous product requirements.

You should have 5+ years of design experience on mobile off-road equipment, proficiency with Creo, Windchill, SAP and Tableau, and a BS in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering.

Your Responsibilities

As a Sr Product Engineer, B2C for Augusta Commercial Products located in Grovetown, GA or Horicon, WI, you will be:

• Engineering team lead for ideation, vetting and execution of B2C VI projects
• Work closely with product engineering teams, supply management, manufacturing, cost management, & multiple factories to achieve goals
• Understand customer & business needs and translate into product requirements
• Develop and meet program targets for performance, cost, timeline, durability, etc.

What Skills You Need

• 5 or more years of system/product design experience for mobile off-road equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to be utilized when working with key project stakeholders such as PV&V, supply management, suppliers and others.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring others.
• Ability to utilize engineering and program management tools including but not limited to Creo, Windchill, SAP, Tableau, etc.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
