Job description

NovoPath is embarking on its next phase of growth after establishing itself as a leading, U.S. based Lab Information Systems (LIS) company. With over 30 years of experience serving the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Molecular and Genetic Testing, and Clinical Trials markets, NovoPath provides a powerful SaaS solution that enables labs to maximize efficiency and reduce human error, promoting superior patient care. The Company is highly regarded in the market for its innovation, customer experience, and product features.

THE POSITION:

NovoPath is seeking a Product Enablement Analyst to own the design, development, and delivery of training content across our product suite, and to track how that training translates into real feature adoption. This role serves both internal stakeholders (implementation, support, sales) and external users (lab directors, LIS administrators, bench-level lab staff) across diverse laboratory specialties.

The ideal candidate understands clinical laboratory workflows, can translate complex LIS functionality into clear instructional content, and can read usage data closely enough to tell whether a feature isn't landing because users weren't trained on it or because the feature itself has a usability problem. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role with direct impact on product adoption, onboarding velocity, and user competency.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Training Content Development
  • Author and maintain end‑user documentation: quick‑start guides, workflow reference sheets, admin manuals, and release‑aligned feature documentation
  • Produce instructional video content including screen‑capture walkthroughs, narrated feature demos, and scenario‑based training modules
  • Build and maintain a structured training library (LMS or SharePoint‑based) organized by product area, user role, and lab specialty
  • Develop role‑specific learning paths for lab administrators, result entry staff, billing coordinators, and IT personnel
  • Translate technical release notes and PBIs into user‑consumable training updates aligned to monthly release cycles
Training Delivery
  • Facilitate live training sessions (remote and on‑site) for new client implementations and go‑live support
  • Conduct refresher training for existing clients during upgrades or workflow changes
  • Support internal enablement: onboard new Implementation Consultants, Support staff, and Sales Engineers on product functionality
  • Develop and administer post‑training assessments to validate comprehension and surface gaps
Adoption Tracking & Analytics
  • Monitor feature‑level usage and adoption trends in Pendo following each monthly release, against the training that was delivered for that release
  • Build recurring adoption reports that distinguish training gaps (feature was covered, usage still low) from product friction (feature was covered, users tried it, then dropped off), and route each to the right owner
  • Maintain a lightweight dashboard covering training completion, session attendance, and post‑release feature usage
  • Flag features with persistently low adoption to Product leadership with supporting usage data, not anecdote
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Product Management to stay ahead of the roadmap, ensure training materials are ready at release, and share adoption data that informs prioritization
  • Work with Implementation and Support to identify recurring user confusion points and address them proactively through content
  • Coordinate with Sales and Marketing on product demo scripts and client‑facing capability overviews
  • Provide structured feedback to Product on usability issues surfaced during training delivery and adoption analysis
Program Operations
  • Establish and enforce a content versioning and review cadence tied to monthly release cycles
  • Maintain consistency in voice, format, and visual standards across all training assets
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • 3+ years of experience in a training, technical writing, or instructional content role within a healthcare IT, clinical software, or laboratory setting
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality training documentation and video content for both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable facilitating live sessions with clients at all levels
  • Experience working with screen recording and video editing tools (Camtasia, Loom, or equivalent)
  • Comfortable working in a product usage analytics tool (Pendo or equivalent) to pull adoption and engagement data and turn it into a clear, non‑technical report — this is analysis and reporting, not data engineering
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent content and reporting deliverables against fixed release deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience with a Laboratory Information System (LIS) – particularly in implementation, support, or training delivery capacity
  • Working knowledge of clinical laboratory operations: specimen processing, result entry, order management, and lab information workflows
  • Familiarity with laboratory specialties such as anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, microbiology, or molecular diagnostics
  • Experience with LMS platforms (TalentLMS, Docebo, LearnUpon, or similar) or knowledge base tools (Confluence, SharePoint, Guru)
  • Prior exposure to a product analytics platform (Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or equivalent) beyond basic report‑pulling
  • Background in instructional design (ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent framework)
  • CLIA, CAP, or laboratory compliance exposure is a meaningful differentiator
  • Experience creating training content for regulated environments (healthcare, FDA‑adjacent) where accuracy and auditability matter
POSITION & WORKPLACE DETAILS:
  • This position is a 100% remote role
  • Role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer
  • Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, HSA, FSA
  • Unlimited PTO
