Job summary

Johnson Controls has an Electrical Engineer position onsite at our New Freedom, PA location. You will oversee electrical design and performance of air-cooled chiller components and support production, lab, service, and marketing teams globally.

The role requires strong design, testing, data analysis, and project management skills, plus the ability to present to engineering teams and management. Onsite work and occasional travel are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related science required.
• Experience with electrical design of panels, drives, and wiring to codes (UL/NEC/CSA/CE).
• Experience with CAD tools for electrical schematics and 3D modeling.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product design, testing, data analysis, and project management.
• Support manufacturing and sustaining of products, including design changes.
• Coordinate release of schematics, drawings, and BOMs; ensure cost/performance balance.
• Travel domestically and internationally (<10%).
• Prepare technical documentation for the product team.
