Job summary

Linktree is seeking an Engineering Director to lead multiple product engineering teams responsible for building core user-facing experiences. This product-first leader will scale teams, ship high-quality product, and raise the bar for UX, performance, and polish.

You will partner with Product and Design to shape roadmaps, guide technical direction, and translate strategy into executable plans that impact millions of users.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multiple product engineering teams in a consumer-facing environment.
• Strong track record of shipping high-quality product with a product-first approach.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with Product and Design leadership.
• Ability to connect engineering work to business metrics like conversion and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering execution across multiple product engineering teams.
• Coach and develop Engineering Managers and senior ICs.
• Set technical direction for front-end and full-stack systems.
• Partner with Product and Design to shape roadmaps and translate vision into plans.
• Drive delivery excellence and prioritize high-impact work.
• Guide architectural decisions with a pragmatic, product-minded approach.
• Champion quality, performance, and reliability, including testing strategy and on-call health.
• Leverage AI to accelerate delivery and product impact.
• Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and executives.
• Navigate ambiguity and shape strategy in evolving product areas.
