Job summary

Zoot Enterprises seeks a Technical Writer to design, create, and maintain customer-facing and internal product content that helps users adopt and navigate our software. The role blends precise technical writing with content design and release alignment to deliver a seamless knowledge experience.

You will partner with product teams to capture functionality, produce user guides, API docs, and release notes, and manage content across the knowledge base and in-app resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, developers, UX/UI, QA and support teams to understand product functionality and upcoming releases.
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including user guides, in-app help, API documentation, release notes, configuration guides, and tutorials.
• Proficiently manage documentation with publishing software, internal wiki, and Microsoft Office products.
• Design clear in-product content (UI text, onboarding flows, contextual help) to improve usability and reduce friction.
• Ensure content is accurate, consistent with style guidelines and brand voice and product updates.
• Organize documentation for easy navigation across knowledge base, help center and in-app resources.
• Continuously gather user feedback to optimize content for clarity and self-service success.
