Job summary

Scale Media seeks a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to ensure FDA/FTC compliance across dietary supplement brands. You will review claims, substantiation, labeling, and promotional materials, flag potential risks, and collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and Quality to guide product development.

You will monitor regulatory changes, maintain documentation, and support the lifecycle from launch to post-market activities, with room to grow expertise within a trusted regulatory team.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of regulatory affairs experience in dietary supplements.
• Claims must be substantiated and regulated by FDA/FTC.
• Experience reviewing labels and promotional materials for compliance.
• Familiarity with DSHEA, 21 CFR Part 111, and structure/function claims.
• Bachelor's degree in a life science, food science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve promotional materials for compliance with FDA/FTC.
• Apply structure/function and advertising requirements to flag risky language.
• Assist in substantiation and maintain supporting evidence records.
• Review supplement labels for packaging and ingredient disclosures.
• Monitor FDA, FTC, NAD developments and translate into practical guidance.
• Partner with Marketing, R&D, Product Development, and Quality on regulatory needs.
