Express Employment Professionals’ Specialized Recruiting Group has partnered with a respected manufacturing company on the southside of Indianapolis that is seeking a Project Coordinator to support product development projects and keep cross‑functional teams aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

This role thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, emphasizing organization, communication, and attention to detail to move projects forward and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of project coordination experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project trackers, timelines, and status reports for Product Development projects.
• Update project schedules and communicate changes to key team members.
• Coordinate project follow‑up across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Purchasing, Marketing, Production, Operations, Sales, and other departments.
• Identify overdue tasks, project risks, and scheduling conflicts and elevate concerns when appropriate.
• Organize and support project meetings, including agendas, notes, and action items.
• Prepare project status updates for leadership, internal teams, and customers when requested.
• Support the company's project approval process by maintaining checklists, tracking documents, and monitoring approvals.
• Maintain accurate and organized project files, records, and documentation.
• Track the status of samples, packaging, artwork, testing, shipments, and approvals.
• Assist with new item setup forms, customer documentation, and related project records.
• Monitor project deadlines and workload trends to help leadership make informed decisions.
• Help develop and maintain project management templates, procedures, and best practices.
• Protect confidential customer, product, and business information.
• Attend and participate in company and department meetings.
