Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio, invites a Product Development Process Intern to help accelerate NPDI, ETO, SFA, and sustaining engineering initiatives. You will support process mapping, data collection, and KPI analysis while applying Lean and operational excellence principles to reduce cycle times and improve quality.

You'll explore AI-enabled tools, document SOPs, and collaborate with GPDO, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Program Management teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Interest in Lean, Operational Excellence, and digital transformation.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn AI adoption.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a global, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Support process improvement initiatives driven by KPIs and lean events.
• Analyze product development processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Apply Lean and Operational Excellence to NPDI, ETO, SFA, etc.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with GPDO, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Program Management teams to implement improvements.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
