Autoliv, based in Utah, seeks a Manager, Inflator Product Development to lead the Inflator Product Development team, ensuring successful execution of product development activities and alignment with company objectives. You will oversee budgeting, resource planning, and team development while driving innovation and collaboration across functions to meet demanding automotive safety standards.

This role requires a strong engineering background and 10–15 years in product development, plus 5–10

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field (Masters preferred).
Engineering background in mechanics and thermodynamics; Pyrotechnics appreciated.
10–15 years in product development, engineering, or automotive safety systems.
5–10 years leading technical teams and managing product development projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, and resource planning.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the Inflator Product Development team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
Oversee budget, resources, and professional development of team members.
Cascade information, promote continuous improvements, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Ensure adherence to customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Promote use of design tools and standard project processes across teams.
