  • Analyze product requirements and develop compliant programs that differentiate mass-market lending products/programs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain launch timelines across multiple departments.
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and final development by project teams.
  • Create product strategy documents describing business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue and ROI.
  • Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
  • Collaborate with IT, credit, operations, marketing, legal, compliance and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, balancing resources to support the organization.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Rate across primary market segments.
Required skills and qualifications
  • 10 years of progressive mortgage lending experience with supervisory experience in roles such as national underwriting, credit, or operations.
  • 3+ years of dynamic mortgage product management experience with a proven track record of leading projects (project management experience).
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage manufacturing processes, documentation, regulatory requirements, credit policy, and pricing tactics.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and manage conflict across teams.
  • Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience delivering targeted product marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and editing, with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to deliver results as a member of a remote team.
Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, management, finance, or technology.
  • 5+ years of product management experience at an IMB with experience in agile.
