Job summary

A leading mortgage lender in the U.S. is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Oversight Analyst to monitor compliance with regulatory guidelines and oversee loan servicing operations. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of mortgage servicing experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Responsibilities include auditing performance, managing risk, and reporting to senior management. Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

The Mortgage Servicing Oversight Analyst will be responsible for various processes supporting the Loan Servicing Area. Monitor third party sub-servicer operations to ensure compliance with regulatory, investor, and contractual guidelines. Key responsibilities include auditing performance, managing risk and loan level default reporting to senior management. Analyze and identify areas of process improvement to mitigate risk on non-performing loans.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor sub servicer adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KIPs).
• Ensure operations comply with state and federal regulations, investor guidelines, and internal policies regarding escrow, loss mitigation, foreclosure and bankruptcy.
• Conduct regular audits and loan-level reviews to identify performance gaps, operational weakness, and compliance issues.
• Analyze date to produce, review, and present performance reporting to senior leadership.
• Oversee sub servicer non-performing activities, including collections, loss mitigation, foreclosure and bankruptcy.
• Serve as primary contact for investors and coordinate deliver of performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of mortgage loan servicing experience
• Action and results oriented, self-starting, and have strong analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers, peers, and management
• Previous experience in loss mitigation, foreclosure, and default management
• Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/VA guidelines
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
