Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is seeking a Product Development Lead for the Warfighter & Warhead Team in Simsbury, CT. You will guide 3–5 engineers through design, development, and qualification of multiple projects, ensuring high quality products on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include establishing rigorous processes, mentoring staff, performing risk analyses, and interfacing with customers as part of EBAD’s management team.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in engineering discipline required; mechanical preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of product design and development experience.
• Experience leading multifunctional technical teams and managing projects.
• Ability to interpret mechanical specifications and data; strong technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3–5 Development Engineers for the Warfighter & Warhead Product Development Team.
• Oversee design, development, and qualification of multiple projects within development engineering.
• Enforce rigorous engineering processes, conduct RCCA, and improve standard work.
