Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering co-op to join our team. You will work closely with software engineers to build and maintain our applications, and receive training across the full software development lifecycle.

You will also develop scripts to automate processes, learn debugging to identify root causes, and may craft technical documents as needed. This paid co-op/internship is offered at multiple U.S. sites and spans Spring/Summer and Summer/Fall terms.

Qualifications

• MS degree pursuit in CS/CE/EE from a US university.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and scripting languages.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux, databases, and cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AMD software applications.
• Receive training on the full software development process.
• Develop scripts to automate software development tasks.
• Learn debugging methodologies to identify root causes.
• Contribute to technical/functional documents and reports.
