The Product Development Engineer drives category value by creating and improving product designs aligned with strategy and leads cross-functional teams on complex projects to balance market needs with production efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in product design/development.
• Technical Bachelors Degree (ME or ChE preferred).
• Proven history of delivering/launching product development projects.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques for data-driven decisions.
• Aptitude and ability to understand complex manufacturing processes.
• Ability to lead projects with strong project management fundamentals.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of data storage, data reporting, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of quality control techniques.
• Detail oriented with ability to collect and organize data.
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute category strategy with cross-functional teams.
• Drive product innovations from concept to market implementation.
• Lead product teams to develop features and upgrades on schedule and within budget.
• Participate in product evaluations including bench testing and consumer testing.
• Prepare developmental machine trials and coordinate testing.
• Participate and present in various meetings and forums.
• Own and manage Finished Product and Raw Material Specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate new materials and technologies.
• Support sales/marketing with technical requests from customers.
• Coordinate testing, packaging, quality testing, product release, and data entry/analysis for consumer panels.
