Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Product Development Engineer III to lead design, development and optimization of innovative products for healthcare, environmental protection and scientific research. You will work with cross-functional teams from concept through commercialization, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

You will advance technology through hands-on engineering, solve complex problems, and contribute to a diverse portfolio of instruments while meeting project deadlines

Qualifications

• Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's plus 5 years in product development in regulated industries.
• Engineering fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical or related.
• Proven project management and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong understanding of design control and quality systems (GMP/ISO/FDA).
• Experience with CAD software and PLM tools.
• Able to analyze complex technical problems and develop solutions.
• Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Excellent technical documentation and report writing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading design reviews and validation activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (domestic/international).
