The role collaborates with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to advance projects and resolve technical challenges. This hands‑on position involves managing SolidWorks and PDM, engineering changes, product documentation, testing, and supporting custom equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of progressive mechanical design experience.
• Experience leading engineering projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting CE certification and product compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize engineering work based on company, production, and customer needs.
• Design new products and improve existing products from concept through production release.
• Create models, drawings, bills of materials, specifications, manuals, labels, and other product documentation.
• Maintain SolidWorks and Product Data Management (PDM) systems, including file organization, revisions, approvals, and released records.
• Plan and support prototypes, testing, verification, validation, risk assessments, and product compliance activities (CE documentation).
• Work with Production to troubleshoot manufacturing issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
