Job summary

AFFORM is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support Design, Product Development, and Production teams. You will help keep communication, product records, and samples organized from concept through production, working closely with internal teams and overseas factories.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized and takes initiative, building experience in product development and production while keeping the team informed, aligned, and on

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in product development, production, merchandising, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, related field or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with textiles, materials, or product construction is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with Basecamp or similar PM platform; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Organize day-to-day cross-team communication among Design, PD, Production, and overseas factories.
• Maintain organized product and style records across development stages.
• Record decisions and approvals in project records.
• Consolidate updates into shared records for continuity.
• Maintain trackers and WIP charts with sample status.
• Follow up on missing information and delays.
• Organize physical sample and materials library.
• Track samples/materials across internal and overseas teams.
• Record sample review outcomes.
• Send lab dip approvals to vendors.
• Coordinate sample handoffs for reviews.
• Archive records and samples for future reference.
• Suggest improvements to filing systems and trackers.
