Job summary

STRATA® is seeking a Development Coordinator in Miami to oversee product development from concept to sample approval, ensuring quality standards and production requirements, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. The role involves managing tech packs, size charts, and documentation, communicating clearly via email, WhatsApp, and WeChat to align on timelines and specs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product development, technical design, or a related role within fashion or textiles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to review and interpret technical specifications, samples, tech packs, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external vendors.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, printing techniques, garment washes, and current industry trends.
• Proficiency with tech packs, digital files, and product development documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Product & Material Development: Identify fabrics, Pantones, trims, and sample references for upcoming collections.
• Sampling & Quality Control: Review trims, lab dips, print strike-offs, fabric quality, and samples against standards.
• Technical Documentation: Review tech packs, maintain size charts and measurement standards, distribute finalized packs to factory partners.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting: Track development timelines and escalate risks or delays; support cross-functional teams to meet milestones.
