Product Development Assistant, Almost Famous Clothing

General Summary: This position is responsible for managing all division samples and product development initiation, as well as following up with overseas agents.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain all production spec sheets with overseas agents.
2. Maintain first cost and division prototype database.
3. Manage all sample procedures for the division.
4. Correct incoming sales, confirmation, and fit samples; communicate changes and specs to overseas agents.
5. Update and maintain division linesheets.
6. Ship samples overseas.
7. Sourcing and trend forecasting.
8. Address production issues by finding solutions to meet target prices, margins, and delivery timelines.
9. Maintain photo library.
10. Set up production and Market Week.
11. Handle special projects as required.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Job Skills:

• Excellent time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Interest and knowledge in the fashion industry.
• Understanding of textiles and garment construction.

Education, Licenses, Certificates, and Experience:

• HS Diploma or college degree.
• 1-2 years of prior experience in the industry.
