SanMar's Issaquah-based team seeks a Product Developer to shepherd concepts through commercial production. You will manage fabric/trim approvals, color testing, costing, and compliance documentation, coordinating with Color, Merchandising, and regional offices.

You’ll drive lab-dip coordination, test new development styles, maintain sample libraries, and support the development calendar with cross-functional partners to ensure timely delivery.

Formación

• 6+ years in product development and production management.
• Understanding of garment and textile manufacturing processes.
• Knowledgeable in component costing, including garment construction and material options.
• Basic understanding of international trade agreements, duties and tariffs, customs regulations, and product safety standards.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive improvements.
• Strong organizational skills to meet development calendars and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Support the product creation process through a complete cycle, driving development of fabric, trims, and styles to facilitate prototype approval.
• Build and maintain the Product Development portion of technical product specifications (BOM, trims, labels, packaging, and associated technical images).
• Partner with Regional Offices and Sr/PD Managers to drive costing quotes and help deliver product margin for new developments and cost improvements.
• Manage lab-dip requests to vendors and coordinate with Color and Merchandising on submissions.
• Execute testing requirements on new styles with the PI team & Decorator Relations team.
• Maintain tested materials, samples, and track testing reports; communicate results to suppliers, QA, and Merchandisers.
