Job summary

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Product Developer to act as the key liaison between Brand and Supply Chain, ensuring best-in-class quality and on-time execution. You will manage the development process from sampling through pre-production, aligning with Design's aesthetic intent and margin targets.

Responsibilities include coordinating sample requests, tracking development, and guiding cost analysis to meet calendar milestones.

Qualifications

• Apparel product development/sourcing/manufacturing experience.
• Deep knowledge of Denim and denim finishing.
• Experience in medium-large companies with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Word, Smartsheet).
• Excellent time management to meet calendar deadlines.
• Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication; cross-functional work ability.
• Result-driven and service-oriented team player.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with tech team to review samples and drive high-quality, cost-effective styles.
• Organize sample orders to suppliers and track development to on-time briefs and pre-production approvals.
• Evaluate and submit development costing aligned with margins and calendar milestones.
• Partner with Design on seasonal development to maintain aesthetic intent and denim finishes.
• Improve workflows and tools to shorten lead times and reduce costs while supporting systems management.
• Research new product ideas with fabric and design teams.
