Job summary

Alexander Wang is seeking a Jr. Developer, Denim to support the Sr. Manager, Product Development, Denim & Unisex in driving denim category development from proto through SMS approval and into production readiness.

The role coordinates tech packs, sample logistics, and product data while supporting vendor relationships to ensure styles meet brand standards. Collaboration with design and development partners will streamline workflows and ensure production-readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in product development, preferably in denim, end-to-end from proto through SMS approval.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and willingness to learn PLM systems such as RLM.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sr. Design Director to drive development milestones and sample calendars.
• Support wash development from concept to final approval and track submissions.
• Review proto and SMS tech packs for accuracy and ensure data consistency across submissions.
• Coordinate with vendors for sampling, trims, fabrics, and lead times.
• Assist in final production readiness and documentation to ensure quality standards.
