Job summary

Meta is seeking a seasoned Product Designer to shape design direction across a broad product portfolio. You will translate strategic goals into actionable design plans, lead complex projects, and elevate the design craft across fidelity levels.

You will mentor teams, partner with product and engineering leaders, and ensure the user experience remains at the core of Meta’s products across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years designing software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives.
• Proven ability to leverage research and data to set product strategy and influence organizational direction.
• Demonstrated strategic product thinking at the portfolio or organizational level, with the ability to communicate a compelling vision to executive audiences.
• Deep expertise in prototyping tools and the ability to evaluate and advance design craft across fidelity levels.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the design vision across a product portfolio or organization, setting the bar for quality, coherence, and innovation at scale.
• Lead and deliver design projects of significant organizational scope and ambiguity across multiple product areas.
• Translate company-level strategy into design direction, influencing roadmaps and shaping future Meta products at an executive level.
• Design and champion experiences that set new standards for simplicity, elegance, and usability across our platforms.
• Define, evolve, and unify visual and interaction systems that scale across products and platforms.
• Serve as a recognized design expert across multiple product and business areas, and stay aware of industry trends.
• Elevate the design practice through mentorship and development of frameworks.
• Drive executive-level partnerships with product, engineering, research, and content strategy.
• Represent design strategy and rationale to senior leadership and cross-functional executives.
