Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Vice President Product Designer for Digital Markets to shape the user experience across our B2B products and services. You will lead design across the Digital Client Relationship team, mentor junior designers, and drive inclusive, accessible design at scale.

You will collaborate with product, design, and tech partners in an agile, enterprise environment, shaping strategy, roadmaps, and design standards while advocating for the customer at every stage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in user experience design or related roles.
• Experience delivering design solutions in complex business domains with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with scaled Agile / enterprise design
• Strong ability to receive and build on feedback from others
• Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles and accessibility standards
• Ability to create visual representations of user journeys (storyboarding, wireframes, prototypes)

As a Product Designer, Vice President in Digital Markets (Commercial & Investment Bank), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our products and services. Within the Digital Client Relationship team, you will help design and evolve the tools that empower our Sales & Trading teams to engage clients; augmenting their work, enabling collaboration, and harnessing the scale of J.P. Morgan Markets.

As a subject matter expert, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, guide, and mentor junior designers, and foster a culture of inclusivity and accessibility. Your expertise in experience strategy and inclusive design will ensure that our offerings are not only visually appealing but also accessible and user‑friendly, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Job responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, user‑centered experiences for B2B applications used by our institutional banking clients
• Help grow and foster a high‑performance design team by being accountable for overseeing the implementation of the standards across product suites, and be a champion for Design
• Operate with an iterative design mindset and incorporate user feedback and insights to continuously improve the overall user experience of our offerings
• Actively participate in design strategy and product definition, roadmap planning in a multidisciplinary environment with product, design and tech partners
• Analyze market trends, gather feedback from user research, and learn from data insights to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences across various platforms and channels

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design or similar roles
• Experienced in delivering design solutions in complex business domains, collaborating effectively with product, development, business, and technology teams.
• Experienced in scaled Agile / enterprise ways of working, aligning design across squads while maintaining quality, consistency, and pace.
• Constantly pushing your limits and searching for opportunities to become better, and comfortable receiving feedback and critique, building on the ideas of others
• Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences
• Demonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys, such as storyboarding, wireframes, and prototypes

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Design leadership or managerial experience
• Advanced technical literacy, including an advanced understanding of client‑side technologies, APIs, microservices, and the components of the technology stack, as well as their impact on user experience
