Job summary

OpenAI in San Francisco is seeking a product designer to lead foundational payments, billing, and monetization experiences across consumer and enterprise products. You will shape system architecture, define a roadmap with product and engineering partners, and translate complex pricing logic into intuitive user interfaces.

You will own end-to-end design, from early concepts to production-ready designs, and contribute to design systems while collaborating with finance, design, and cross-functional

Responsibilities

• Lead design direction for payments, billing, and monetization experiences across OpenAI products.
• Create end-to-end product experiences from concepts to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Shape platform frameworks and infrastructure to support evolving usage models.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, and design to define roadmaps and balance near-term and long-term work.
• Translate complex technical constraints into clear, trustworthy user experiences.
• Conduct user research to inform pricing and billing decisions and iterate designs.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems to ensure consistency across products.
