Job summary

Justworks, based in New York City, is seeking a thoughtful Product Designer to shape how small businesses interact with our platform. You’ll create cohesive, human-centered experiences across product touchpoints, from onboarding to day-to-day workflows, collaborating with engineers, product managers, data, and researchers.

You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional team, bringing craft and clarity to design systems and internal tools, with a focus on accessibility and real user needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in product design, ideally in B2B SaaS, HR tech, benefits, insurance, or related domains.
• Proficient in Figma and comfortable working within a design system.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams with engineers, product managers, and researchers.
• Attention to detail, and a refined sense of craft in visual design, typography, and brand expression.
• Fluency in Figma and comfort working with design systems.
• A portfolio of case studies demonstrating experience leading complex product design efforts, including clear problem framing, collaboration processes, final solutions, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design cohesive, human-centered product experiences across touchpoints to make complex tasks feel simple.
• Contribute to onboarding flows, design system foundations, and internal tools used by customer service teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to shape solutions from discovery to delivery.
• Maintain craft and consistency, ensuring accessibility and alignment with Justworks brand and design system.
