Job summary

Aspen Technology in the United States is seeking a Product Designer to partner with product management and engineering to define user-centered experiences for our industrial software.

You will design flows, journeys, and interfaces, build prototypes, test with users, and contribute to our Design System, aiming for visually clean, accessible products. English fluency required; enterprise software experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating multiple design projects.
• 2+ years of experience designing web products.
• Degree in human-centered design, CS, or related.
• Ability to solve complex problems and deliver customer outcomes.
• Proficient with design tools like Figma and Sketch.

Responsibilities

• Identify complex design problems and devise elegant solutions
• Develop deep product knowledge and empathy for users
• Collaborate with engineering and product management on data-driven designs
• Create user journeys, page flows, prototypes, and implement designs to pixel perfection
• Test, learn, and iterate with product peers
• Research new design paradigms and apply industry standards
• Use Design System for accessible, consistent experiences
