Job summary

Dirac is building the creative suite for manufacturing engineering. You will own projects from pencil to release, working across user research, product strategy, prototyping, interaction design, visual design, and frontend development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience in complex B2B/technical software.
• Strong ability to design large information-dense interfaces and workflows.
• Experience owning end-to-end product design from research to release.
• Ability to communicate decisions clearly across Product and Engineering.
• Curiosity about how physical things get made; manufacturing familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from pencil to release across research, strategy, prototyping, interaction and frontend design.
• Define patterns, primitives and interactions for complex workflows.
• Understand user needs and existing tools, and design faster, more trustworthy replacements.
• Familiarize with manufacturing workflows including BOMs, work instructions, and takt time.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, operators, and customers on-site.
• Help establish Dirac's design language, design system and product standards as Build OS grows.
• Partner with Product and Engineering from exploration through release.
• Contribute to frontend code, prototyping and product polish.
