Job summary

Dirac, Inc. seeks a Forward Deployed Manufacturing Engineer to translate real-world build processes into scalable BuildOS workflows.

You will embed with customers during pilots, turning CAD data into structured instructions and guiding adoption of a model-based manufacturing platform. Based in New York City with a hybrid work model and frequent travel to customer sites, you will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and operations teams, and act as a trusted advisor while owning

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
• Experience in or with manufacturing environments.
• Ability to translate real-world processes into structured workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer assembly processes into BuildOS workflows.
• Create and structure work instructions from CAD data.
• Lead onboarding and drive adoption during pilots and deployments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams.
