Job summary

Dirac, Inc. is building a new kind of BuildOS for manufacturing engineering. We’re seeking an early Product Designer to shape a suite that unifies CAD, data models, and shop floor workflows.

You’ll own projects from concept through release, shaping structure and surface with strong design craft and user research. You’ll collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver production-ready designs and establish our design language.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in complex B2B or professional software.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end from research to release.
• Strong interaction and visual design skills with attention to craft.
• Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.
• Familiarity with user research, usability testing, and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from pencil to release across research, strategy, prototyping, interactions, and frontend development.
• Define patterns, primitives, and interactions for complex workflows.
• Understand existing tools and processes, design faster, more complete replacements.
• Become fluent in manufacturing workflows and related terminology.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, operators, and customers on the floor.
• Help establish Dirac’s design language, system, and product standards.
