Job summary

Profound, an AI marketing platform, seeks a Product Designer to own core data visualization and content workflow tools, shipping features rapidly with strong ownership of the product.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate strategy into design, refine based on user feedback and analytics, and help evolve Profound's design language and product vision.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing digital products.
• Generalist capable of managing flows to pixels and final product.
• Craft-driven design with emphasis on clarity and execution.
• Entrepreneurial and product-minded approach to design.
• Experiment with AI tools and new prototyping methods.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists.
• Portfolio showing thoughtful problem-solving and high-quality visuals.
• Experience with data visualization or B2B marketing products.
• Prototype in code and ship to production using git/GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Design core product experiences end to end from exploration to launch.
• Translate strategy and ambiguities into clear design solutions with PMs/engineers.
• Explore directions via sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Refine layouts, typography, spacing, motion, and interactions.
• Balance user needs with technical constraints and business goals.
• Incorporate user feedback and product intuition to improve the product.
• Help evolve design language, systems, and product vision.
• Participate in design critiques and give/receive feedback.
