Job summary

One Eighty Collective in the United States is seeking a senior product designer who codes and prototypes with AI tools to own the full experience of our sports platform across web, native mobile, and the dashboards used by athletic directors, coaches, and parents.

You will lead working sessions that end in working software, prototype in code, evolve the design system, and design simple flows atop complex APIs and data models.

Job description

Are you a senior product designer who codes, prototypes with AI tools like Claude Code, and is ready to be the sole designer to shape an entire product? Have you traced a user flow from interface to API to data model, then designed the dashboard and the simple consumer flow that sit on top of it? Would you rather lead a working session that ends in working software than hand off a file? If you’re a Product Designer, Design Engineer, or UX Engineer interested in owning the full experience of an established sports technology platform used by athletic directors, coaches, and parents, please read on.

This founder-led company builds the software that runs high school athletics: registration, eligibility, scheduling, officials assignment, and payments. It has incredibly strong product-market fit, a stable customer base, and a large parent user base already transacting on the platform. Development now runs AI-first, and design is moving from handoffs to working sessions where product, engineering, and AI build together. There is no in-house designer today, the design system needs a clear vision, and a new dashboard is about to move into build. This new Product Designer will be massively impactful, fully owning the experience across native mobile, mobile web, and web.

What You Will Own

• Own the user experience across web, native mobile, and mobile web
• Lead working sessions with product and engineering that end in working software

What You’ll Need

• Shipped software and working prototypes with strong visual judgment
• Designed for web, native mobile, and responsive web
• Built with AI tools, checking the output rather than accepting it
• Worked in an existing codebase without close supervision
• Startup or small-company experience (agency-only backgrounds are not a fit)
• Comfortable with fast iteration and direct feedback
• Sports, education, registration, or event software
• B2B2C products with both admin and consumer users
• Usability testing or user research
