Your role involves defining the visual language for Moments, collaborating closely with engineers, and maintaining a design system. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in product design for mobile apps with strong Figma skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product design experience on consumer mobile apps.
• Expert-level Figma skills including prototyping and component systems.
• Understanding of iOS design patterns and Human Interface Guidelines.

About the role

As our first Product Designer, you'll define the visual language and interaction patterns for Moments. You'll work at the intersection of AI, privacy, and social sharing — designing experiences that feel magical but never creepy. This role has an outsized impact on how millions of people will share photos.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end design for new features from concept to shipped pixels
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
• Design intuitive onboarding flows that build trust around privacy
• Collaborate closely with engineering on interaction details and animations
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
• Establish and maintain a design system for the Moments brand

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of product design experience on consumer mobile apps
• Expert‑level Figma skills including prototyping and component systems
• Understanding of iOS design patterns and Human Interface Guidelines
• Experience designing for trust, privacy, or sensitive user contexts
• Excellent visual design taste and attention to micro‑interactions
