Job summary

Nucor Building Systems Indiana seeks a Product Design Manager to lead development and improvement of PEMB products, parts, and assemblies. You’ll mentor the Product Design Team and collaborate across engineering, production, sales, and vendors to deliver safe, code-compliant, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires PEMB experience, familiarity with IBC/ASCE 7/AISC, and proficiency in CAD and engineering analysis tools. Bachelor’s in civil/structural/mechanical engineering or equivalent; P.E.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of PEMB experience with PEMB systems and components.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, and AISC as they apply to metal building systems.
• Proficiency in engineering drawing interpretation, CAD software, electronic file management, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of PEMB products, processes, and tools across NBG.
• Prioritize value versus investments to improve or introduce PEMB parts and products.
• Oversee evaluation of PEMB structural components for optimization and cost reduction.
• Collaborate across engineering, production, sales, purchasing, vendors, and customers to improve product performance.
• Provide strategic and technical feedback to promote benchmarking and interdivisional alignment on standards.
