Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Product Design Lead to own the execution of the design vision and manage a small team of designers across multiple initiatives.

You will balance leadership with hands-on design, driving business-driven, user-centred solutions that elevate the user experience. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to remove blockers, streamline workflows, and champion accessibility and scalable design systems across platforms.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating leadership of design teams and end-to-end product design backed by user research and impact.
• Experience building and mentoring design teams with collaboration and performance growth.
• Expertise in UX/UI principles, interaction design, and user research with a results-driven track record.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to influence cross-functional teams and advocate for design at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team of product designers, ensuring prioritisation, alignment, and on-time delivery of high-quality design work.
• Mentor and inspire the team through critiques, coaching, and skill development.
• Manage project timelines, roadmaps and design workflows to deliver quality work on schedule.
• Maintain a hands-on contribution to key design projects while balancing leadership duties.
• Partner with product managers, engineers and executives to translate strategic goals into user-friendly design solutions.
• Advocate for user-centred design using qualitative and quantitative research and usability testing.
• Ensure design consistency and scalability via design systems and atomic design principles.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design for diverse users.
• Collaborate with analytics and product teams to measure impact and optimise experiences.
