Job summary

Acelab is seeking a senior product designer to own the Material Hub UX end to end, from the design system to core workflows. You’ll collaborate daily with PMs and engineers who move fast and ship weekly.

You’ll identify usability gaps, overhauls in the design system, and new surfaces like shared workspaces and dashboards, while focusing on activation and retention through concrete user flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience in startups or fast-moving environments.
• Shipped complex, data-heavy B2B products and workflows.
• Experience building or overhauling a design system and driving adoption by engineers.
• Strong independent judgment and clear, concise communication.
• Hands-on prototyping with real users and fast feedback loops.

Responsibilities

• Own the Material Hub UX end to end: design system, core workflows, and quality of ships.
• Audit platform UX to identify usability gaps and lead redesigns from quick fixes to major overhauls.
• Design new surfaces on our roadmap: shared workspaces, activity logs, dashboards, and AI-powered tools.
• Drive activation and retention by defining key user actions and optimizing flows.
• Conduct weekly user research with architects, designers, and manufacturer partners and feed insights into the roadmap.
• Ensure production-ready details: spacing, states, and edge cases are correct.
