Pilot Company is seeking a Product Design Intern for the summer in Knoxville, Tennessee. You will help design features for our mobile app, website, and retail technology platforms, guided by experienced designers and researchers.

You will apply UX principles to create intuitive user experiences, collaborate across the product lifecycle, and learn through mentoring with a supportive team dedicated to people and growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Information Sciences, or related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma; experience with Photoshop and Illustrator; motion design tools a plus.
• Soft Skills: Coachable, strong communication and collaboration, curiosity and creativity.
• Qualities: Strong portfolio showing design thinking and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Support digital product design across Pilot's mobile app, website, and retail tech platforms.
• Create user-centered interfaces and journeys that improve guest experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, and developers to bring designs to life.
• Apply user feedback and best practices to craft effective design solutions.
