Job summary

Amplify in the United States is seeking a Product Design Intern to support the full design process across our web and mobile product suite, from concept through prototyping to final design delivery.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and User Research to translate needs into intuitive design solutions, assist with design systems and style guides, and build interactive HTML/CSS/JS prototypes to communicate interactions.

Qualifications

• Synthesize information and identify themes to inform design solutions.
• Communicate insights clearly in writing and verbally.
• Participate in usability testing and user research activities.
• Contribute to research via user interviews and competitive analysis.
• Demonstrate UX/UI, interaction, or visual design foundational skills.
• Apply accessibility considerations (WCAG) in designs.
• Work with design systems and component libraries.
• Create motion or micro-interactions ideas for tests.
• Collaborate on front-end handoff and design implementation.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end design process across Amplify’s web and mobile product suite.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and User Research to translate needs into design solutions.
• Assist with design system components, UI patterns, and style guides for consistency.
• Build interactive, code-based prototypes (HTML/CSS/JS) to test designs.
• Contribute to usability testing, interviews, and research synthesis.
• Track design feedback and assets to support efficient workflows.
