Job summary

Jacques Marie Mage, a Los Angeles-based luxury eyewear producer, is seeking a Product Design Intern to support the design team from concept to production. The role is onsite at our West Hollywood headquarters and ideal for candidates pursuing or recently completing a degree in industrial/product design.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for design, fashion, and the eyewear industry.
• Visual sensibility and care for presentation and organization.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain all product samples, ensuring they are properly labeled, stored, and retrievable.
• Catalogue incoming and existing samples in internal systems.
• Archive colors, materials, and finishing, maintaining a well-structured library.
• Assist in creating CMF technical files for vendors to support product development and manufacturing.
• Design presentations and update the collection launch wall to ensure accurate visual representation of upcoming releases.
• Support the design team with research, trend analysis, and material sourcing.
