Job summary

Chromalox, part of Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS), seeks a Design Engineer to provide product design support for assigned product groups. You will work with Product Managers or sales staff to validate specifications and manufacturability within existing technologies.

Your responsibilities include creating design concepts, ensuring designs meet parameters, and supporting tooling and QA aspects. A Bachelor's in mechanical engineering and 5+ years of experience with SolidWorks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in SolidWorks preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Creating design concepts for new and existing customers that conform to specifications and performance requirements.
• Ensuring designs for manufacturing meet customer parameters.
• Providing design support to manufacturing and manufacturing engineering to ensure manufacturability.
• Acting as the product design focal point for customer design changes and tooling requirements.
• Acting as the product design focal point for quality assurance performance parameters.
