Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering with 3+ years in design.
• Experience with mechanical components/systems; composites, elastomers, metals.
• Proficient in CAD modeling and engineering drawings using SolidWorks and Catia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support project goals in collaboration with engineering leadership and other functions.
• Develop prototypes and products for transition to production.
• Perform design and analysis to meet requirements.
• Design tooling and fixtures as needed for consistent, economical production.
• Resolve technical problems in lab or production line.
• Generate parts lists and digital BOMs for sub-assemblies and hardware.
• Develop procedures for parts and system tests and reports.
