Job summary

ITT Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA, is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join the ECS Product Team. You will design composite and metallic structures, ducts, fluid and thermal control systems, acoustic control, and heaters for diverse applications.

You will produce 3D models and 2D drawings, develop tooling, create parts lists and BOMs, and lead projects from concept through qualification, presenting results at technical reviews.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering with 3+ years of design experience.
• Experience designing components using composites, elastomers, and metals.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or Catia and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop composite and metallic structures and associated systems.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings, prepare Bills of Materials.
• Lead project progress and present at technical reviews.
• Develop testing procedures and support production transitions.
