Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking an experienced aerospace engineer to lead the design and development of composite structures. You will create 3D models, detailed drawings, and release packages using CATIA, NX, and SolidWorks, ensuring manufacturability and flight-readiness.

You will develop laminate schedules and ply stacks, collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, and support prototypes, FAI, and ramp activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in composite structural design within aerospace.
• Strong CAD/FEA proficiency and drafting skills.
• BS in aerospace/mechanical/materials science; MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of aerospace composite structures and components.
• Create and review 3D models, drawings, and release packages (CATIA/NX/SolidWorks).
• Develop laminate schedules and stack-ups aligned with load cases and manufacturing.
• Support prototype builds, FAI, and production ramp activities; resolve issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, quality, and supply chain teams.
