The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining a professional appearance.
Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient in using and navigating personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handlers Permit may be required.
Physical Demands: Regular requirements include standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel, reaching up to 65 inches, talking and hearing, visual reading, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing or stepping up ladder, balancing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), pushing and pulling a fully loaded demonstration cart, preparing foods and beverages using utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, microwaves, and contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming as per retailer dress code.
Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual may be required.
Additional Notes: Role not expected to exceed 25 hours per week; company may adjust based on business needs.
