The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week; the company reserves the right to change the role based on business needs.
Education/Experience — High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills — Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations — Local food handler’s permit may be required.
Stand and walk for the shift; use hands; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop; kneel; squat; climb or step up ladder; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasional up to 50 pounds); push/pull a wheeled cart; operate required appliances (cooking utensils, knives, ovens, coffee maker, fryer, microwaves); exposure to cleaning products. Retail store environment with limited travel.
