As an Associate, you are responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations. You acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands: The associate will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms (up to 65 inches), talk, hear, read instructions, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming in order; consistent with retailer dress code requirements.
Language Skills: English is primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business need.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company reserves discretion to change the role based on business needs.
